About the designer - Jessica Ariasubrata

Formally trained as an Industrial Designer, Jessica decided to pair up her design skills with her love of fashion accessories and jewellery. After many years of sourcing unique semi-precious beads, crystals and high quality components, Jessica's original designs and ability to perfectly match them to outfits inevitably led to the birth of the Mink Schmink label.

Coupled with her experience in Retail, Advertising and Customer Relations the end result is a funky yet elegant label attuned to the individual's need for "being different". Now, Jessica is mapping the rest of the journey, one bead at a time!

Self taught, her designs show great attention to detail, colour and styling. Her eclectic range spans across all styles, from the whimsical and eccentric, to the elegant and sophsticated. All Mink Schmink originals are hand-crafted in her Newtown studio.

Mink Schmink's Newtown boutique features her unique jewellery designs alongside specially sourced accessories which aim to provide something different.

In defiance of the accessories produced by chain stores, Jessica selects accessories for their design, price and their exclusivity. She believes in having a good mix of designs and only selects items that have something special about them.

Mink Schmink is the ideal place to find gifts and also treat yourself. We offer a lay-by service as well as gift certificates - so no matter what the occasion, you can be sure to satisfy the fussiest of tastes.
